Jakarta, Sept. 20 -- The Indonesian Army (TNI AD) showcased its new Harimau tanks, developed in cooperation with Turkiye, at the TNI AD Fair 2025 at the National Monument (Monas) square in Central Jakarta on Saturday.

"The Harimau tanks are the Army's latest defense equipment, produced through collaboration between Indonesia and Turkiye. We take pride in these domestically manufactured units," Head of the TNI AD Information Office Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana told the media during the event.

Weighing around 30 tons, a Harimau tank measures seven meters in length, 3.2 meters in width, and 2.62 meters in height. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 70 kilometers per hour and has an operational range of 600 kilometers.
