Jakarta, Sept. 3 -- Indonesia is sending a team of 12 archers to compete in the Archery World Cup in Gwangju, South Korea, from September 5-12, an event that also serves as preparation for the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

The team, led by Riau Ega Agata Salsabila and accompanied by five coaches and officials, will compete in the men's and women's recurve and compound divisions.

"We just arrived in South Korea, still on the bus to Gwangju," said Abdul Razak, deputy chairman II for Development and Achievement of the Indonesian Archery Association (PB Perpani), to ANTARA via text message from Jakarta on Wednesday.

According to PB Perpani Chairman Arsjad Rasjid, this event is more than just a competition.
