Jakarta, July 18 -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Italy, Junimart Girsang, presented his letter of credence on Thursday to Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
According to a statement from the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Rome, Italy, received here on Friday, the handover of the letter of credence officially marked the start of Junimart Girsang's duties as Indonesian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Rome.
The ceremony started with the ambassador's departure from the Indonesian embassy's residence in Rome to the Quirinale Palace.
