Jakarta, May 28 -- Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Puan Maharani met with Speaker of the Japanese Parliament Nukaga Fukushiro during her working visit to Tokyo to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting held at the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo on Wednesday, she emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between both nations, especially as both face challenges from increasing global geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty.
