Jakarta, Feb. 18 -- Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan announced that his team had enlisted several young Indonesian talents to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) service.

"We have recruited a number of Indonesian youngsters who are currently working (on the AI service)," the council chairman remarked on the sidelines of the Indonesian Economic Summit 2025 in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He noted that the young talents are scheduled to present their digital project to President Prabowo Subianto in the next two weeks.

The former coordinating minister for maritime affairs and investment informed the media that the AI-powered digital platform would offer services in both Indonesian and English.
