Nusa Dua, Bali, May 3 -- Indonesia secured two bronze medals at the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup in Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali, on Saturday.

The medals were won by Kadek Adi Asih in the women's speed final and Kiromal Katibin in the men's speed final.

"I'm surprised to have won a medal, and this is the first World Cup that I have participated in," Asih said after the medal presentation ceremony.

With a time of 7.27 seconds in the bronze medal race, the 19-year-old athlete beat her South Korean opponent, Jeong Jimin, who finished with a time of 9.00 seconds.

Earlier, Asih passed the qualifying round smoothly and entered the top 16 with a better time of 7.00 seconds.
