Jakarta, May 17 -- The Indonesian government has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a conducive and sustainable business climate, including for investors from South Korea.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arrmanatha Nasir made the statement during a meeting with his South Korean counterpart, Kim Hong Kyun, on May 14.
In a press release issued Saturday, Nasir emphasized that amid global economic uncertainty, it is increasingly important for the two countries to strengthen their economic partnership, particularly in investment and trade.
"South Korea is a strategic partner for Indonesia, and Indonesia is ready to further intensify the partnership by encouraging strategic engagement between the two heads of state," Nasir stated.
