Jakarta, Jan. 29 -- Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the final outcome of tariff negotiations between Indonesia and the United States now hinges on a meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and President Donald Trump.
He emphasized that a high-level meeting between the two heads of state is still required, even though Indonesia and the United States are, in principle, ready to reach an agreement, with tariff talks proceeding without significant obstacles.
"It is important to consider the schedules of both leaders. Note that they previously met in Davos, Switzerland," Hartarto told reporters after attending a coordination meeting of the Central Inflation Control Team in Jakarta on Thursday...
