Jakarta, Aug. 2 -- Finance Minister Sri Mulyani highlighted the ease of investing in Indonesia during a meeting with the Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the United States (US) Embassy, Peter M. Haymond.

"We discussed the US-Indonesia economic partnership. I explained Indonesia's current efforts to make it easier to do business in Indonesia. One way is through deregulation," Sri Mulyani stated on her Instagram handle @smindrawati, as quoted here on Saturday.

She explained that President Prabowo Subianto instructed the government to focus on simplifying regulations and improving the investment climate in Indonesia by increasing bureaucratic efficiency.
