Jakarta, Aug. 29 -- The Indonesian government has called for the swift conclusion of the review of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) to make it more concise, transparent, and beneficial for business actors.

This was conveyed by Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti, who led the Indonesian delegation at the ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) Meeting on the AITIGA Review, held in a hybrid format in Jakarta on Thursday (August 28).

"This meeting presented a strategic opportunity to address our shared issues with India that remain unresolved and to pursue meaningful results that are equally beneficial for all parties," she said in a statement cited here on Friday.
