Jakarta, May 28 -- Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto has called for strengthened collaboration between Indonesian universities and Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU), especially in higher education and applied research areas.

"I have seen many achievements over the past year. Hopefully, we can continue to work together," Minister Yuliarto noted in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology and NTU Singapore held a meeting on Tuesday (May 27).

On that occasion, Yuliarto also praised NTU's commitment to supporting higher education in Indonesia and welcomed the prospect of further strengthening cross-border research partnerships.
