Jakarta, May 29 -- Indonesia's Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas has asked Egypt to accede to the Apostille Convention to make the legalization of documents from both countries easier.
He made the request during a meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador to Indonesia Yasser Elshemy in Jakarta on Tuesday.
"Some of our people study abroad, including in Egypt. The Apostille service is highly needed for the legalization of their documents, and it will also make it easier for Egypt's citizens who need document legalization to go to Indonesia," he explained here on Thursday.
He also sought Egypt's support for Indonesia's bid to become a member of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), considering that Egypt is already an HCCH ...
