Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- Indonesia's Foreign Minister Sugiono on Thursday voiced confidence that Peru will thoroughly investigate the killing of Zetro Leonardo Purba, a staff member of the Indonesian Embassy in Lima, and ensure justice for his family.
"We believe and trust the Peruvian government will do all the necessary things to resolve this issue," Sugiono told Peruvian Ambassador to Indonesia Luis Tsuboyama during a vigil for Purba at the Foreign Ministry office in Jakarta.
Presiding over the vigil, Sugiono said Purba's death while carrying out consular duties in Lima was a tragedy for the Foreign Ministry and the nation.
He also thanked the Peruvian government for its swift response and commitment to holding those responsible account...
