Jakarta, Dec. 17 -- Indonesia's Commission on the Acceleration of Reform within the National Police (Polri) is set to convene to address concerns regarding the extensive assignment of active police officers to civilian government institutions.

Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra shared this update, citing Polri Regulation (Perpol) No. 10 of 2025, which allows officers to hold positions in 17 ministries and state agencies.
