Jakarta, April 29 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports will directly handle the preparation of athletes from three sports-table tennis, boxing, and climbing-for the SEA Games in Thailand from December 9-20, 2025.

"We will manage the preparations for boxing, table tennis, and climbing (athletes) for the SEA Games," Youth and Sports Minister Dito Ariotedjo told the media here on Tuesday.

He said that his ministry will prepare athletes from the three sports to ensure they can continue competing in the regional multi-sport event, following issues affecting the sports' governing organizations, particularly table tennis and boxing.

The table tennis sports organization has faced dual governance for over 10 years.
