Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- Director General of Economic and Fiscal Strategy at the Ministry of Finance, Febrio Kacaribu, said that the government's plan to place Rp200 trillion in banks will follow a scheme similar to the financing model of the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (Kopdes Merah Putih).

Previously, the government allocated Rp16 trillion to the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) to support Kopdes Merah Putih. That allocation will continue in 2026 with an additional Rp67 trillion, bringing total support for village cooperatives to Rp83 trillion.
