Jakarta, April 25 -- Indonesia will be represented by Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono at the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on April 28-29, marking its inaugural participation as official member of the economic group.
According to a statement from Sugiono's office, cited here on Thursday (April 24), the upcoming meeting will spotlight a range of global and regional issues, particularly politics and security, global governance reform, and the role of the Global South in multilateralism.
