Jakarta, Dec. 2 -- The Human Rights Ministry is formulating steps for human rights development in the National Human Rights (HAM) Development Planning Conference to be held from December 8-10.

Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai said here on Tuesday that this will be the first National HAM Conference in Indonesia, marking a historic milestone in human rights development as an intangible asset.

"Until now, there have been national development deliberations. Now, there is also the National Human Rights Conference, officially conducted by the government. This is one of the most important historical milestones," he said.
