Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- The Indonesian government will hand over at least 25,000 subsidized homes to beneficiaries across the country, Housing and Settlement Minister Maruarar Sirait announced on Wednesday.
"This is the first time we will carry out the handover of at least 25,000 subsidized houses on Monday [September 29]," Sirait said.
The main ceremony will be held in Bogor, West Java, which was chosen for its strong housing development performance and because the district records one of the highest levels of extreme poverty in the country, according to Statistics Indonesia.
