Agam, West Sumatra, Dec. 8 -- The Indonesian government will cover all costs to repair roads and bridges damaged by recent flash floods in Malalak, Agam District, West Sumatra, Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo said Monday.

During a visit to affected villages in Malalak Subdistrict, Hanggodo, accompanied by Deputy Chair of House Commission VI Andre Rosiade and West Sumatra Deputy Governor Vasko Ruseimy, inspected damage caused by flash floods.

Hanggodo said President Prabowo Subianto had stressed the government's commitment to restoring disaster-hit areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
