Jakarta, Sept. 13 -- The Indonesian government plans to speed up the implementation of priority programs by establishing a special task force, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced on Friday.
The task force will involve the Ministry of Finance, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry. It is expected to ensure that the budget for President Prabowo Subianto's priority programs is implemented effectively.
Sadewa said the team will focus on programs that have faced delays, particularly those with low budget absorption and limited impact on development.
