Jakarta, May 4 -- The Indonesian government plans to expand the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program by accelerating the establishment of additional special kitchens.
During a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto in Bogor, West Java, on Saturday, National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Dadan Hindayana reported on the program's progress.
Hindayana said the program has reached around 3.3 million beneficiaries nationwide since its launch in January, achieving the target set for its initial phase.
He noted that the next goal is to increase the program's reach to over 4 million recipients by opening new kitchens throughout May.
"We are striving to bring this program to 6 million beneficiaries by the end of May or early June," Hindayana said...
