Jakarta, July 4 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto has said that Indonesia is planning to purchase energy products worth US$15.5 billion from the United States (US).

"We have just discussed what Indonesia will offer to the US related to the tariff. We discussed the plan of Indonesia purchasing energy worth up to US$15.5 billion in total," he said at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday.

He added that the discussions also covered the procurement of agricultural goods and plans for investment, including by state-owned enterprises and the Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency.
