Jakarta, Sept. 7 -- The Indonesian government declared full support for the participation of Indonesia Global Peace Convoy (IGPC) in the Global Sumud Flotilla and pledged protection to participating Indonesians.

Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson, Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela, in his video statement received on Sunday, said that the Indonesian government has been notified that 30 Indonesians will participate in the humanitarian flotilla.

As the mission will depart from Tunisia to the Gaza Strip on September 10, the government has coordinated with Indonesian embassies in the Mediterranean region for the protection of participating nationals.
