Jakarta, April 28 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria stated that the government is referencing some European Union (EU) regulations to shape Indonesia's digital governance framework.
As quoted in the ministry's press release on Monday, Patria highlighted that several countries have adopted EU regulations regarding digital services and markets, including those concerning artificial intelligence (AI).
"We think the Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA) are among the best frameworks. Of course, we need to adjust them in some parts," he noted while referring to the two regulations.
