Jakarta, June 10 -- Manpower Minister Yassierli underscored the importance of fairness and protection for workers at the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday local time.

"Indonesia believes the world of work must be built to be equitable and resilient to address various global challenges," he noted in a statement.

Addressing representatives of the ILO member states, he also responded to the ILO Director-General's report that highlighted challenges in the employment sector, such as rising unemployment, social inequality, and economic uncertainties.
