Belem, Brazil, Nov. 8 -- Indonesia and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening strategic partnership in sustainable development and climate change mitigation through the signing of bilateral agreements.
The first memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Indonesian Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq and British Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband on the sidelines of the Belem Leaders Summit in Brazil on November 7.
According to Nurofiq, the MoU seeks to expand cooperation in climate mitigation and adaptation, strengthen carbon management, and promote sustainable, low-carbon development.
