Jakarta, June 1 -- The Indonesian government is accelerating the construction of border posts to strengthen territorial sovereignty and boost economic growth in border regions, according to a cabinet minister.

"We are fully committed to completing all stages of border post construction in line with established quality standards," Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo said on Sunday.

He added that the Ministry of Public Works is enhancing cross-sector coordination, including with the National Border Management Agency (BNPP), to ensure smooth project execution.
