Jakarta, Feb. 17 -- Indonesia contributed to the global development and adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) by sharing its experience in undertaking the Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) with countries attending the AI Action Summit in Paris, France, last week.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) Nezar Patria highlighted that Indonesia is the first Southeast Asian country to embrace the AI ecosystem assessment tool devised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
"Several nations, including those in ASEAN, asked Indonesia to tell about its experience in completing the RAM for AI by UNESCO," he remarked at his office in Central Jakarta on Monday.
