Jakarta, Dec. 5 -- Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir stated that Indonesia will implement long-term preparations through a national centralized training system for the 2028 Olympics, following President Prabowo Subianto's directive.

"National centralized training may take one to two years for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles," he said during the send-off ceremony for the Indonesian contingent competing in the 2025 SEA Games at the State Palace here on Friday.
