Jakarta, April 4 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Indonesia has handed over humanitarian aid to the people of Myanmar affected by the earthquake on March 28 in Naypyitaw, Myanmar, on Thursday (April 3).

According to a press release from the ministry received in Jakarta on Friday, the humanitarian aid was received by Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Soe Kyi.

The humanitarian aid consisted of 143 tons of logistical supplies valued at Rp22.6 billion (approximately US$1.3 million), comprising food, medicine, medical equipment, and shelter supplies.
