Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono announced that rice prices have begun to decline in 150 districts and cities, supported by a sufficient harvest and improved food distribution.

"Rice prices have gradually declined in 150 districts and cities," he said during a working meeting with Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) in Jakarta on Tuesday (September 16).

According to him, the price drop reflects effective upstream-downstream coordination and close monitoring of distribution, which significantly affects national food price stability.
