Jakarta, June 5 -- Foreign Minister Sugiono informed that Indonesia is seeking to diversify trade with Oman to increase trade value and strengthen collaboration in investment and tourism.
"I called for strengthening connectivity between businesses of the two countries, including through business forums and joint trade missions," he said, according to a written statement issued by the ministry here on Thursday.
Sugiono made the statement while receiving a visit from the Omani Ambassador to Indonesia, Sheikh Mohamed Ahmed Salim Al Shanfari, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Sugiono and Ambassador Al Shanfari discussed concrete steps to solidify bilateral cooperation, including in trade, investment, and tourism.
