Jakarta, June 3 -- Indonesia aims to play an active role in addressing global labor issues, Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan stated during the 113th International Labour Conference (ILC) held in Geneva, Switzerland.

"The Indonesian government is not just attending as a participant but as part of the solution to global labor challenges," he said, as quoted from the ministry's official statement here on Tuesday.

The conference, taking place on June 2-13, 2025, at the headquarters of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Office in Geneva, carries the theme "Advancing Social Justice: Reshaping the Future of Work in a Polarized World."
