Jakarta, Jan. 27 -- Indonesia's government is seeking a solution to issues involving three villages along the border with Malaysia, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said, as authorities move to clarify territorial concerns and address public anxiety over boundary management.

Prasetyo said the government would conduct on-site inspections to gain a full and accurate picture of conditions and problems affecting the border area before deciding on further steps.

"We will look for a solution. We will check directly in the field," Prasetyo told reporters at parliament in Jakarta on Monday.
