Jakarta, Dec. 4 -- Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti affirmed Indonesia's commitment to accelerating the expansion of the scope of the Indonesia-Turkey Preferential Trade Agreement (IT-PTA) as a strategic step toward a comprehensive economic partnership.
According to a statement received on Thursday, the commitment was highlighted during Esti's meeting with Turkey's Deputy Minister of Trade, Mustafa Tuzcu, in Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday.
Indonesia recorded a total trade value of US$2.4 billion with Turkey in 2024, with a five-year growth trend of 13.50 percent.
