Jakarta, June 12 -- Indonesia's Health Ministry is set to launch the Presidential Call to End Malaria Initiative (PCMI) by inviting all stakeholders-central and regional governments, the community, and mass media-to strengthen collaboration to expedite malaria elimination.
During a media briefing on Thursday, Director of Infectious Diseases at the ministry Ina Agustina Isturini said the PCMI will be launched at the Asia Pacific Leaders' Summit on Malaria Elimination, scheduled on June 16 and 17, 2025, in Bali.
"The PCMI is a call to action on collaboration to eliminate malaria," she added.
