Jakarta, March 17 -- Indonesia secured support from Chile for its ongoing accession process to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

"We would like to thank Chile for its support of Indonesia's accession and the valuable inputs provided," Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto remarked while receiving Chilean Ambassador Mario Ignacio Artaza in Jakarta on Friday (March 14).

According to a release cited from his office on Monday, the minister also expressed Indonesia's support for Chile's accession to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which includes countries from the Asia-Pacific region.
