Jakarta, Dec. 19 -- Indonesia's Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa assured the availability of government aid funds for disaster management in Sumatra.

After attending a limited meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Friday, Purbaya confirmed there were no funding constraints, either for current emergency response needs or for the upcoming budget.

"The President has checked the information with me, and I have conveyed that everything is in order," he said when asked about disaster aid funds for Sumatra.
