Jakarta, Feb. 7 -- Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said banks would engage with credit rating agency Moody's to address considerations underlying its recent outlook revision.
"Yes, this will involve communication between each bank and Moody's," Airlangga said on the sidelines of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Meeting I 2026 on Saturday.
He said rating agencies routinely seek clarification on issues within their assessment scope and that responses would be handled at both the corporate and national levels.
"For corporate-related matters, each institution responds individually. From a national perspective, Indonesia remains in Moody's investment-grade category," he said.
