Jakarta, April 30 -- Indonesia's consistency in executing bureaucratic reform across institutions has yielded budget savings of Rp128.5 trillion (around US$7.7 billion), according to Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister Rini Widyantini.

She attributed this achievement partly to the optimal implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP), which has helped prevent losses in both the state budget (APBN) and regional budgets (APBD).

"This feat proves that pursuing accountable bureaucracy is a solution, not a burden," she remarked at a coordination meeting on 2025-2029 bureaucratic reform policies and 2024 evaluations at her office in Jakarta on Wednesday.
