Jakarta, Nov. 21 -- Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka departed for Johannesburg on Friday to represent President Prabowo Subianto at the G20 Summit, underscoring Indonesia's commitment to global economic recovery and international cooperation.
Gibran took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta at 9:30 a.m. local time for the two-day summit, which will be held on November 22-23, 2025, at the Johannesburg Expo Centre.
His participation signals Jakarta's intention to maintain an active role in shaping responses to global economic headwinds under President Prabowo's administration.
