Jakarta, April 17 -- President Prabowo Subianto has signed Law Number 3 of 2025, which amends Law Number 34 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi announced on Thursday.

The revised law, which took effect on March 26, places TNI defense policy and strategy under the authority of the Ministry of Defense, while military force deployment remains under the president's command.
