Jakarta, Sept. 21 -- Indonesian triathlete Martina Ayu Pratiwi clinched a bronze medal in the elite women's race at the 2025 Asia Triathlon Cup in Gamagori, Japan, held on September 20-21.
Pratiwi finished third among 58 international athletes, completing the race in 1 hour and 22 seconds. Her breakdown included 10:46 in swimming, 31:14 in cycling, and 17:24 in running.
Indonesia's national triathlon coach, Muchammad Fadly Arif, praised her performance, saying it reflects the results of intense national training.
"This event served as a benchmark ahead of the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand," Arif was quoted as saying here Sunday.
