Jakarta, Feb. 25 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Sergei K. Shoigu and his delegation with a luncheon hosted at the Presidential Lounge of the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday.
The president's secretariat stated that this visit is expected to further strengthen the ties between Indonesia and Russia, leading to the forging of more mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.
"This visit also reaffirms the shared commitment of Indonesia and Russia to enhancing their strategic partnership, especially in the security and defense fields, and exploring opportunities for future cooperation," the secretariat noted in its statement cited in Jakarta.
