Jakarta, Feb. 19 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the US Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning local time to attend the inaugural Board of Peace (BoP) Summit.
His motorcade reached the venue at around 8 a.m., after several surrounding roads had been cleared an hour earlier.
Prabowo is attending the high-level meeting at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, who initiated the BoP and is scheduled to officially open the summit.
The Indonesian leader is set to deliver remarks alongside representatives of other member states.
Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya accompanied the president.
