Jakarta, April 14 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani exchanged views on ways to strengthen ties between their countries during a meeting at the Amiri Diwan Palace in Doha on Sunday.

According to a statement from Prabowo's office, the two leaders co-chaired a bilateral meeting attended by delegations from both nations.

"The meeting covered opportunities for strategic cooperation across various sectors," the office said in a press release on Monday.

Following the joint session, President Prabowo and the Emir held a one-on-one meeting in a cordial atmosphere to deepen their discussions.
