Medan, Nov. 29 -- Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo sent logistical aid to disaster-affected communities in North Tapanuli, North Sumatra.
North Tapanuli Police Chief AKBP Ernis Sitinjak said 3.5 tons of aid were distributed to the affected areas.
"We have received 3.5 tons of aid from the National Police Chief," he said in Siborongborong City on Saturday.
Sitinjak stated that the aid from the Police Chief, the highest-ranking police officer in Indonesia, would be distributed to nine sub-districts: Adiankoting, Parmonangan, Pahae Jae, Purbatua, Tarutung, Simangumban, Siatasbarita, Sipoholon, and Pahae Julu.
