Jakarta, June 24 -- Deputy Speaker of Indonesia's People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Lestari Moerdijat, has emphasized the importance of ensuring children's access to appropriate information, urging all stakeholders to support related initiatives.
"Efforts to develop the Children's Friendly Information Center (PISA) to uphold children's right to appropriate information must be supported by all parties," she said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
Moerdijat explained that appropriate information refers to content that is positive, supports children's growth and development, and respects human dignity.
