Jakarta, Dec. 29 -- Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia said Indonesia's fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) stocks for the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) period are above the national minimum standard.

"I am grateful to have received a direct briefing from Pertamina's board of directors and the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) that Indonesia's national fuel stocks are currently above the minimum standard," said Bahlil in Jakarta on Sunday.

He explained that the minimum standard ranges from seven to eight days, while current reserves average more than 18 days, or around 20 days. With the reserve standard optimized to 21 days, current stock levels range between 18 and 21 days.
